Personality characteristics for an infant caregiver include: loving, good communication skills, trustworthy, punctual, patient, and attentive. In this regard, one is expected to show love to the infant at any particular time, thus enabling the infant to be joyful and feel loved. Furthermore, one is expected to have good communication skills. As a result, the caregiver will be in a position to explain to the parent all activities that transpired during the day time with the infant and what should be done to enhance the quality of care accorded to the infant. Also, the caregiver should be trustworthy and punctual. Thus, the parents of the infant should trust the caregiver to take good care of the infant and always ensure he/she is keeping time in daily operation to ensure that the infant is in good care all the time.
