Recently, a younger generation shows a low patriotic spirit as in Malaysia so in other countries worldwide, which makes the issue of patriotism as a global concern. Among challenges, while implementing values of patriotism among the younger generation, are negative attitudes among young generations, the lack of appreciation among the people of various races, the lack of confidence among the people of multiple races, and globalization. As for suggestions, Malaysia can improve the situation with patriotism strengthening the role of the printed or electronics mass media or through legislation.
