3. The physical environment of the classroom - This includes the classroom layout and teaching resources and equipments found in a classroom.

A positive classroom environment is one that has the following:

1. Safe and respectful learners behaviour- Learners are able to focus and actively engage in learning when they feel safe and respected.
2. Positive peer relationships allows learners to be kind and support each other, further reinforced positive interactions between the learners promotes positive classroom environment.
3. Nurturing positive relationship and caring for the learners and their progress in academics, this motivates the learners hence promotes positive classroom environment.
