2.2.2 What cause seasons to occur?
There exist four seasons in the world, which include spring, summer, winter, and autumn. These seasons occur at different times in the same place. This means that while it may be summer at one part of the world, another part experiences spring, and another winter. This means that all the seasons occur simultaneously at different part of the world at the same time. This is the meaning of the phrase “Different seasons occur at the same time on the same planet".
The seasons are caused when the earth's spin axis is tilted with respect to its orbital plane. When the earth's axis points towards the sun, it becomes supper for that hemisphere pointing the sun and winter when that hemisphere points away from the sun.
