Resources that do not undergo depletion after continuous use are renewable. Their characteristics are the emission of low carbon and a low carbon footprint. They include tidal, sun, and wind energy. Contrary, the resources that undergo depletion and are irreplaceable immediately are non-renewable. The characteristics of these resources are higher carbon emissions and a higher carbon footprint. They include fossil fuel resources such as petroleum, coal, and natural gas.
