1) In a homogeneous societal culture the underlying values and beliefs are shared and pervasive; thus a dominant set of cultural beliefs exist. In a more heterogeneous societal culture many different values and beliefs are held by diverse population groups. This situation is characterized by a multicultural society.

In economics, Homogeneous products are those that cannot be distinguished from competing products. Heterogeneous products are products that are distinguishable from competing products and cannot be easily substituted; differences and brands are easily spotted by consumers.

In politics, homogeneity means spatially uniform-distributed properties. The exchange of goods and services between nations. Heterogeneity is generally used to describe a quality of cultural diversity, mostly as antidote of the cultural convergence-thesis, which proposes an increasing homogenization of culture through globalization.

2) Cultural hybridization suggests the production of distinctive blends due to the merging of global and local cultures while cultural convergence highlights that cultures are becoming increasingly similar. In contrast, cultural differentialism emphasizes on the difference in cultures.

Ideally, Cultural hybridization best suites the Philippines culture amidst globalization.

The main facets of the Philippines becoming a major pawn in globalization are its large English speaking population, its potential for food supply, and its command of strategic shipping lanes. These are what make it so important to the two main competing visions of globalization, and a continuing target of diplomatic pressures and economic imperialism.

Philippine culture is a mix of Asian (and by Asian, I mean all of Asia), American, and Spanish culture. And there's a lot of ethnolinguistic groups present: the Ilocanos of the North, Tagalogs, Visayans, and Mindanaoans. And inside those ethnolinguistic groups are categories based on how and where they live. For instance, the Mindanoans have Muslims and Chabacanos/ Chavacanos who speak Spanish-based creole language.

Since the Spaniards colonized the Islands for 333 years, and brought Christianity, (which conveniently removed women and LGBTQ and their rights) I'd say the Spanish perspective would be the closest, but then again, there's also a lot of Asian and American influences so I'm not saying that we see through a full Spanish perspective.
