suggest THREE possible ways in which workplace bullying may be resolved
1. Maintain a record of events
Bullying is often repetitive and escalates over time, so keep a record of every event to go back to later and to support any complaint or claim you may make in the future.
Keep track of the times, dates, and locations of all incidents, as well as what was said or done – and whether or not any witnesses were there.
2. Contact your company's human resources department.
If you are dissatisfied with your boss's reaction or believe you are unable to communicate with them, call your company's human resources department and request that they assist. You may also want to take advantage of workplace wellness programs, pastoral support services, and any other resources your firm may offer.
3 Inform Your Boss/Supervisor
If you don't believe you can speak to your bully directly, or if you have previously tried and nothing has changed, the next step is to involve your boss – or their supervisor if it is your direct manager who is the issue! It is up to you whether you want to formalize things at this point, but if workplace bullying is harming you, the sooner you speak up and make someone in charge aware of the problem, the better.
