Group by learning style, not ability- Grouping learners according to their abilities is counterproductive. While it may make things simpler for teachers, research indicates that it generally retains struggling students where they are and does nothing to advance pupils of intermediate ability. Utilizing mixed-ability groups can aid in learning, particularly when students are given the opportunity to coach or educate their peers. A variation on this is to group pupils who learn similarly – visual learners with visual learners, auditory learners with auditory learners, and so on. This can make a significant difference when it comes to small-group education.
