1. Disrespect from students- young people see examples of disrespectful attitudes towards teachers on television and in the movies.
2. Cellphones- The noise of ringing or vibrating phones and students texting their friends are major distractions to teachers' lessons. 
3. Computers in classrooms- Unfortunately, many students use computers for personal use. other than the learning purpose.
4. Limited disciplinary options- Teachers are sometimes afraid to discipline a child because of the threat of a lawsuit if they handle a situation incorrectly.
5. Fatigue- Many students are not getting enough sleep making it difficult to concentrate during class.
