Spoken-Language has features that add the blend to communication and increase the value of meanings beyond words.
1. Adjacency Pairs
They are paired statements or phrases normally used in two-way conversations. For instance, the greeting, ''Good morning to you '' and the natural response, ''Good morning to you too?''
2. Backchannels
Used by the listener to show that they are keeping attention or understanding the message from the speaker. It encourages the speaker to proceed with the conversation. For example,'' ''I see...'' or “Sure...”
3. Deixis
These are words that are known without context and relate to aspects such as A specific time (like ''then''), A place (such as ''here''), and A person (for example, ''he''). Some other examples include, “that”, “this” or “there”
