The threat to Philippine culture are the Filipinos themselves. The Philippines is slowly becoming xenocentric. They value all manner of things that are not Filipino such as the music, arts, language, fashion, and media.

They lack nationalism and patriotism. The comments you’ll likely to see in all social media platforms that says “I’m proud to be pinoy” which is commonly seen when a Filipino artist did a world class performance, is an illusion of nationalism. The true heroes of their nation who do things to honour their country are unheard and not given interest of the people. They study their history, have films of them yet they do not honour their past by doing nationalistic and patriotic act.

When a great leader arise, they revolt. When an incompetent leader arise, they revolt. They are never at peace. They are divided by regional classifications, and they tend to perform well in like-minded and like-region origin groups.
