Tucker: The introduction of internet usage in school has been of much benefit to learners. Wide database of information has been made available for learners.

Keen: Also access to this information has been made easy. Learners can access any tpe of information using their hand gadgets or computers.

Keating: Again you realize that the use of internet has brought convenience and flexibility in many fields for instance giving out assignments and also submission can be done via emails.

Chan: About Keating's idea, with the outbreak of COVID-19, the use of internet was very vital in learning. Learners attended classes via zoom without having to converge in classrooms during lockdown.

Tucker: Very true Chan. The convenience is also brought about in the context of interviews and meetings. A person does not have to travel to attend the interview. The same can be done using zoom and skype.

Keating: Another provision of the use of internet in schools is the virtual trips. Learners are able to virtually travel to various locations and observe features at the comfort of their homes.

Keen: I agree Keating, the virtual trips provided by the internet further reduces costs and expenditures. Learners does not have to incur costs to take trips.

Chan: On the other hand, only learners with these gadgets are able to access the virtual trips. the unavailability of internet in some areas barrs other learners from accessing virtual classes and trips.

Keen: Very true Chan, internet comes with a lot of positives, however there are some associated drawbacks one of which is cheating in exams.

Tucker: Something else on the negatives of internet in schools is that there is a lot of unreliable information given the wide database of information. It is therefore quite challenging for the learners to identify the correct information.

Chan: Also, The cost of installation of these hardwares and technology in schools is quite expensive for some schools.

Keating: Furthemore, the absence of restriction on some sites gives learners access to violent sites and images which are not educational. Also the use of internet is so addictive and causes distraction to learners.
