Introduction

Attention Getter: “No one ever finds life worth living; they must make it worth living.” Corporate bosses, business school professors and even community leaders talk about the importance of having a vision. So, what is a vision, and why do we need one exactly?

Reason for Listening: While many people wait for the future to unfold and simply hope for good things to materialize, among high achievers and exceptional individuals are deciding on what they want and work towards shaping their future. Therefore, this is a topic for everyone to learn from.

Thesis statement: The idea of having a vision is hardly new. I have met many people having a vision, but visioning is not all about having a vision. Instead, successful people generate what I term balanced vision. For this reason, I have a package of what you need to know about visioning.
