The allegorical interpretation of the tribe concept in the quotation “Jack had backed right against the tribe, and they were a solid mass of menacing that bristled with spears.” Implies the case where Jack furiously attacks Ralph and his brigade to make them be under his tribal leadership. In this case, the scene was horrific as Peggy was killed and Ralph was later chased away from Jack’s territory, just because of leadership thirsts and differences between Ralph, the chosen chief, and Jack, the hunter.
