1. Based on the scenario given, how does the social context of Clarisse influence her in making her own
decision?
2. Who do you think is/are the intended readers of the short story Last Leaf by O. Henry?
3. In your opinion, how does the present COVID-19 pandemic affect the literary prowess of individuals?
1) Clarisse's social life influences her decisions on social matters. It was hard for her to accept Chris's date before cheerleading which means that Clarisse has to be associated with their friends for quite some time so that she can accept dates. She is kind of an introvert.
2) The short story Last Leaf by O. Henry is intended to introverts who are shy and not easy to open up and interact with strangers.
3) Covid-19 pandemic has affected the ability of individuals to explore and adventure to gain more literary knowledge and ideas in their literature work. People have been kept indoors and thus cannot move and gain more insights apart from online works.
