Write a response to Jose Rizal situating yourselves a century after Rizal's time. Cite pieces of evidence from the essay, The Philippine: A Century Hence.
The Filipino Superpower Dr. Jose Rizal wrote an article titled "The Philippines a Century Ago" on the Philippines' future or what the Philippines would be like in a century. Rizal's work predicted the country's future within a hundred years of constructing current events and circumstances to get at the concept of the Philippines' future. The essay informs Spain of the wrongdoings they committed in the Philippines, which harmed ancient customs, memories, and writings, as well as other aspects of Filipino life. Please accept my opinion on our great national hero Dr. Jose Rizal's essay "The Philippines a Century Ago." The point of the view of my reflection paper is all about Philippines after a century or what will be the Philippines after a century by concluding to the work of Rizal “The Philippines a Century Hence”. In the article that Rizal’s work, me, myself and I noticed the answers of Rizal in his work.
First and foremost, Rizal exposes a number of difficulties that plague our country in his article. Human rights violations, a lack of journalistic freedom, and a lack of representation in the Spanish Cortes are all examples of human rights violations.
Rizal notes several possibilities for what the Philippines will be in a century, the first of which is that the Philippines will remain a Spanish colony if its citizens receive not only the rights and privileges of Spanish crown citizens, but also the inherent rights of a human being; the second is that the Philippines will inevitably rise in revolt against Spain if it is continuously exploited and abused, as several historical events demonstrate; and the third is that the Philippines will inevitably rise in revolt against Spain if it is continuously exploit.
These, in my opinion, are the facts that cast doubt on Rizal's forecasts in "The Philippines a Century Ago." So, this is my assessment on Rizal's work. History repeats itself; it may have done it a hundred times before. However, today's conflict was not the same as the one fought by our predecessors. It is now a message intended to serve as a warning. The Spaniards' colonization, which began four centuries ago, is today paralleled by our own countrymen's colonization of foreign brains. Let us continually utilize our minds to consider what will happen as a result of the Spaniards' wrongdoings toward us.
