What effects does HIV and AIDS have on the learners and teachers
HIV and AIDS greatly impact learners and teachers, thus greatly affecting their learning and teaching efficiency. Learners have been subjected to psycho-socio such as fear, depression, stigma, worry and hopelessness, thus negatively affecting their learning and development.
On the other hand, HIV and AIDS have also negatively affected teachers because it has reduced their immune system, thus making them prone to other diseases and reducing their ability to teach. In addition, it also leads to the increased workload to other teachers because of increased absenteeism among sick teachers as well as reduced self-esteem among teachers, thus affecting teaching ability.
