Art is a window into our soul and as a Christian, our soul is always connected to our belief as follower of Christ. But as Christians, we should look and analyze art and what it's connection on our beliefs as Christians.

In analysing one follows the steps below:

LOOK

Use your senses, primarily our sense of sight. Our eyes are one of the greatest gifts our God gave us and he wants us to utilizes it according to His decisions. We use our eyes on identifying and classifying the colors, the medium, the style, and even the approach but what God wants us to know are the elements - the figures, the characters, and others that compose the art that can give us meanings and understanding God wants us to know.

Questions like "What colours are used?" "What medium, style, and even approach are used?" "Do the figures, characters, and other elements embody the art itself?" are useful in looking on a certain artwork.

SEE

Seeing a certain artwork does not end on what just we saw, knowing the meaning of the whole artwork is also necessary in this part. All of us can identify the elements of the artwork but the meaning of it can be hard to others. We Christians have this saying "If God wants us to know, we will know it." , we should analyze certain artworks by integrating the teachings of Christianity, the Word of God itself. 

"What God wants me to think about this?", "Do this artwork integrates the teachings of the Word of God?", "Why God wants me know this?", and even "How am I think about this artwork?" are some of the questions we can rely in this part.

THINK

Lastly, think about it. We learn how to look and to see, but think about its connection to our life. Connect it with your experiences as a person and as a Christian, think on what God really wants us to do after looking a certain artwork, and what its implication on our life as a Christian. It can be realizing or changing but what matters most is how do we apply the meaning to our life positively. 

Questions like "Why God wants me to realize?", "What should I do?", "Do God wants me to change?" and even "To whom do I need to share this?" are some of the questions related to this part.

Lastly, we as the disciples of God should be the channel of His words and artworks can be the way that we can use and refer on how will we deliver His words. It can be critical but what matters most is our connection before and after looking and criticizing certain Christian artworks.
