As a learning mediator, an educator will demonstrate good subject matter understanding as well as multiple principles, strategies, and resources pertinent to teaching in a country's setting. The educator will mediate learning in a way that is sensitive to the various needs of learners, including those with learning disabilities; create learning environments that are appropriately contextualized and inspiring; and communicate effectively, acknowledging and respecting the differences of others. A teacher must also demonstrate a solid mastery of issue matter as well as a variety of concepts, approaches, and resources pertinent to teaching in a certain country's environment.
