1.What do you think would happen to the world's economic status if the Agricultural and Industrial Revolutions did not occur?
2. Currently, what improvements do you believe are required for our farmers or the agricultural system in our
country? Please elaborate on your
own viewpoints.
1. Without agricultural and industrial revolution, the world's economic status would be far away behind. Firstly, the Agricultural Revolution helped bring about the Industrial Revolution through innovations and inventions that altered how the farming process worked. These new processes in turn shaped a drop in both the strength of the work and the number of agricultural laborers needed there by increasing theproductivity.in addition, without the Industrial Revolution, I believe that the world wars we have fought would never have happened because there would not have been the production of arms required to fight them. No space program, no technology, no long-ranged travel on the Earth, no well-established trade or communications. Therefore, if there was no agricultural or industrial revolution, actually many people would have died from every sweeping pandemic so there might only be a few humans left living on a world going back to nature and overwhelming mankind and this would drag the economy back.
The following are some improvements that needs to be done in the agricultural sector in our country; firstly, Grow High-yield Crops. The country needs increased research into plant breeding, taking into consideration the unique soils that are found in our country. Secondly, the agricultural sector needs to improve irrigation. This is because with the growing effects of climate change on weather patterns, more irrigation will be needed as average yields in irrigated farms are 90% higher than those of nearby rain-fed farms. The country needs Increase the use of Organic fertilizers. As soil fertility weakens, organic fertilizer use must increase. Governments need to ensure the right type of fertilizers are available at the right price, and at the right times.
