Factors Undermining Parent Involvement to Students’ Education
Parents play an essential role in a child’s education process; they must actively get involved through child education. However, some factors undermine their involvement. First, parents over depend on the school’s capacity to nature studnets which often leads to a lack of parents’ guidance in a child’s education. Secondly is illiteracy; some parents are not literate and don’t understand education disciplines and their role to help children besides financial support. The growing distance of children in boarding schools and their parents is also undermining parents’ involvement.
