“Good evening everyone. I know everyone has an idea of what love is and what it entails. Love is a beautiful thing given by our God unconditionally. It is the greatest commandment that our God requires of us that ‘we love our neighbors as we love ourselves.’ God loved us that He gave us His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life. Therefore, love is life, and whenever we share the love we share a moment of life that helps people be enthusiastic about what we endeavor to do.  As Sophocles said, love frees us from all the weight and pain of life. Sophocles was absolutely right as any individual who is highly burdened and is shown an aspect of love will feel a bit gives him or her relief of life.

There are certain types of love. Firstly, we have eros which is an erotic, sexual or passionate love.  It's often all about need and it's more about the person who's feeling sexually attractive than it is about the person who is the focus of that love or thing that is the focus of that love. It is addicting. It can cause great joy and great sorrow. It isn't always good for you. Secondly, we have philia love which is generally referred to as brotherly love since it is love between friends. This is the love that is good for your health. The touch of a loved one. The philia touch lowers blood pressure. People in loving relationships feel your love have few doctor visits, shorter hospital visits, have less pain, and have more positive emotions. All of these positive consequences of philia love, loving friendships make us more resilient when hard times come. Thirdly, we have storge love that is the love of parents for children. It is the most natural and sincere kind of love and mothers know best but isn't talked about too much when we talk about love. Lastly, we have agape love which is the love of mankind. It is the love that I talked about that God gave us unconditionally. All forms of love are important if they are not misused especially erotic love. We should always seek to extend a hand of love to our brothers and sisters in the entire world as love doesn’t know borders. Thank you and live to embrace love.”
