When diversity is not respected in an organization, employees' morale, productivity, and retention decreases.
Relationship with clients in an organization deteriorates when diversity is not respected in that organization.
When an individual regard one’s own group, culture, or nation as superior to others while disregarding the others, the other employees will be shy to unleash their creativity and performance hence worsening the corporate culture.
When individuals are excluded from a group, they may feel resentment, withdrawal, and even a negative self-image or lack of confidence.
If employees feel isolated and/or misunderstood, it can result in a loss of faith in the facility for a successful future. This often causes a loss of interest in their job and, ultimately, a loss of organizational loyalty
Culturally diverse workers inform the concerned employees or managers about the culture of their respective countries. Where there is no respect for diversity, the managers and concerned employees will lack sufficient information about cultural difference and the way business is conducted in the country where the overseas assignment is.
