Diversity is about what makes each of us unique and includes our upbringings, character, life experiences, and principles, all of the things that make us who we are. It is a mixture of our alterations that shape our view of the world, our outlook, and our attitude. Therefore, places of worship promote diversity through the following ways;

(a) Sharing the word of God with people who aren’t like them, racially or culturally. This is because when the word of God is preached, the gentiles believe and places of worship grow and become more diverse.

(b) Praying for diversity is another way that places of worship use to promote diversity. Prayer discloses our hearts and the truth is we like people who are like us, so we pray for people like us. For example, when we ask God to help us see the beauty in other people He delights to answer prayers that reflect his heart.

(c) Going on a mission trip. Places of worship can promote diversity by having a mission trip whereby they meet people who are like them, who are mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, and who face the same issues in life like theirs, and their heart for them grows hence promoting diversity.

(d) Members spending time with people who are not like them. A lot can be said of learning another culture, but start with learning another language. You can’t learn someone’s language without spending time with them. For example, the goal of the church is to enable its members to speak many languages, and that starts by spending time with people who speak another language.
