Programs studied in universities empower and promote diversity in various ways. Personally, I have been able to gain diversity in studies through firstly, interacting with students from different cultures making me have respect for each culture. Secondly, my degree is in Linguistics, I am able to interact with people from different languages helping me learn to appreciate strengths and weaknesses from different languages. Thirdly, In terms of tones, there is the great diversity that works best in acknowledging each other's voices. Other ways include; being willing to address inequality, connecting with parents and community, meeting diverse learning needs, hiring diversely, and support professional development opportunities.
