Strategy implementation is the process by which an organization translates its chosen strategy into action plans and activities, which will steer the organization in the direction set out in the strategy and enable the organization to achieve its strategic objectives. It is also the manner in which an organization should develop, utilize, and amalgamate organizational structure, control systems, and culture to follow strategies that lead to competitive advantage and a better performance.
Strategic change is the movement of a company away from its present state towards some desired future state to increase its competitive advantage. It is the implementation of new strategies that involve substantive changes beyond the normal routines of the organization.
