Regulations regarding noise, vibration and shock
The Minister may make regulations with regard to the control of noise, vibration and shock,
concerning-
(a) the definition of noise, vibration and shock;
(b) the prevention, reduction or elimination of noise, vibration and shock;
(c)
the levels of noise, vibration and shock which shall not be exceeded, either in general or by
specified apparatus or machinery or in specified instances or places;
(d)
the type of measuring instrument which can be used for the determination of the levels of
noise, vibration and shock, and the utilisation and calibration thereof;
(e)The powers of provincial administrations and local authorities to control noise, vibration and
shock; and
(f)any other matter which he may deem necessary or expedient in connection with the effective
control and combating of noise, vibration and shock.
A. Disturbing noise is objective and is defined as a scientifically measurable noise level, like loud music. Noise nuisance, on the other hand, is a subjective measure and is defined as any noise that disturbs or impairs or may disturb the convenience or peace of any person, like persistent loud talking or a barking dog.
B.Write is only effective when the TRACE flag is define. DEBUG is defined only in Debug project build configuration and TRACE is defined in Debug and Release project build configuration.
Environment conservation act is meant to protect environment from pollution while noise pollution is unnecessary noise or nuisance.
D. Write debug build configuration while impact is the effect caused on something.
