Writers or authors use various strategies to fuel the imagination of young readers. This includes visual stories such as huge and exciting pictures in the books of young readers that assist in widening their vocabulary of both words and images. For example in the story book ' The Tale of Peter Rabbit’, big images of the rabbits have been taken in the book which aids to introduce the readers to rabbits. The readers will be able to imagine how a rabbit looks like as they pay attention to the story. This helps to reinforce their minds as it acts as muscles.
Another strategy used by authors to stimulate the imagination of young readers is choosing to use books with little or no pictures for older readers and also encouraging the young readers to read the stories aloud.
