Classroom rules are the cornerstone of any functioning and successful classroom. Rules differ from procedures in that they govern how the classroom appears, what conduct is acceptable and promoted, and how students work together to achieve a shared objective. To put it another way, they set the tone.
Every minute spent in school is valuable. Everything will be in disarray if the pupils do not obey the regulations.
The major objective for establishing classroom rules is to remove and avoid any potential distractions and misbehaviour that interfere with learning. The goal is to establish a good and conducive environment for learning, and classroom management is critical to doing this.
