The key elements of a pluralistic society are decentralization and diversity of power. Using what you know about the South African society, do you consider it to be a pluralistic society? Why or why not?
First and foremost, a pluralist democracy is a political system with more than one center of power. Modern democracies are of pluralism as they allow freedom of association. Individuals achieve positions of formal political authority by forming successful electoral coalitions making S.A pluralists.
