· Originality of thoughts/ideas, content quality and language use, overall presentation of the book the seven habits of highly effective people
Stephen Covey discovered that high-achievers were often plagued with a sense of emptiness. The ideas are so original since he gathered them from the events before and after the First World war. The content quality is quite sharp and top-notch since he argues that it’s your character that needs to be cultivated to achieve sustainable success, not your personality. Covey introduces the concept of paradigm shift and helps the reader understand that different perspectives exist, i.e. that two people can see the same thing and yet differ from each other.
It is well presented with simple language appealing to many people making it widely accepted across the globe. It has sold more than 25 million copies in 40 languages worldwide, and the audio version has sold 1.5 million copies and remains one of the best-selling nonfiction business books in history. In August 2011 Time listed 7 Habits as one of "The 25 Most Influential Business Management Books".
