Should governments censor the media?

No. Censoring the media is never a good thing. Even though there are media outlets that deal in untruths most try to be truthful. Censorship for the most part leads to government control. If a government can control the truthfulness of a media outlet say a commission to do the judging I would say okay but, if the government just decides a newspaper, radio station or web site is fined or something for what it said would be wrong. What the government should do is educate its population so they could know what is true and not true.
