Improvisation is the activity of making or doing something not planned beforehand, using whatever can be found. In the performing arts, it is a very spontaneous performance without specific or scripted preparation. This process gives teachers' the knowledge of creativity, manipulative skills and critical thinking. It also allows the teachers' and learners' to display their skills of creativity in teaching and learning activities for better understanding and assimilation of concepts being taught in the classroom. Improvisation helps in saving cost of looking for ready made instructional media which are more costly. It encourages self-reliance and a feeling of confidence during instruction delivery.
