Discuss how the effects of industrial revolution have effected children and women
Women's and children's lives were profoundly affected by the Industrial Revolution. As the Industrial Revolution progressed, women's conventional roles began to shift. Women entered the workforce in great numbers in textile mills and coal mines as a result of the Industrial Revolution's effects, leaving some children at home to fend for themselves. Women and children typically worked in factories and mines to help support their families financially. In the workplace, women were not valued equally to men, and they were frequently paid far less. Women were subjected to deplorable working conditions in addition to low pay.
