Tires from automobiles are a significant environmental concern. Tires do not decompose, emit  harmful fumes when burned, and can leak pollutants and chemicals into the earth where they are stored. Almost every state has introduced legislation dealing with scrap tires, with many  governments outright prohibiting them from being thrown of in landfills. Rubber tires may be  reused in a variety of ways, which is great news:

Recycled as retreaded tires and used again on vehicles.

Made into rubber bumpers for boats and children’s play equipment

Turned into roof tiles and structural supports in eco-buildings.

Carpet mats and tiles have been repurposed. Recycled tires are a substantial component of  several carpeting businesses' eco-carpets.

Rubber granules are broken down and utilized to cover playgrounds and artificial sports fields.

To reduce paper, pay your invoices using e-billing tools wherever possible.

Create a community drop-off site for old computers at a neighborhood school.

Used car tires should be returned to merchants or wholesalers who will recycle or retread them. Most landfills prohibit the disposal of tires, and illegally dumped tires serve as breeding grounds for mosquitoes and other pests.
