Ten (young) writers have won this year’s “Write Up Your Street” (competition) and now have a chance to work with some of Britain’s (leading) writers. Writers will be put in touch with some of this country’s top writers through East-Side (educational) trust’s mentoring programme. “This is a (unique) opportunity for young people to gain direct access to writers to enhance their skills under their guidance and to gain an insight into a range of genres," said Christopher Enticott from (East-Side).
(At) a recent ceremony the ten (winners) were joined (on) stage with their mentors to receive their certificate and their £100 prize. The young people were able to hear their mentors (speak) about their (experience) as professional writers.
