The pandemic has brought many negative effects in all sectors of the economy thus becoming a crunch in the human ecosystem. This paper seeks to determine the importance of the Covid 19 vaccine in the economy. Many countries have subsidized the experienced pharmaceutical companies to produce vaccines in high volumes to necessitate herd immunity over their populations to contain the pandemic and take control of the economy which has been edging to recession.
