- Individual racism- This occurs when one's beliefs and actions are grounded upon prejudices against another race. For example, beliefs that whites are biologically superior to people of color.
- Institutional racism- This is a type of racism that is incorporated in institutions, seeking a particular group of people. The education system is used to impose certain beliefs and behaviors on students.
