Plastic bags are one of the most widely utilized items in today's society. It facilitates our work and provides numerous benefits. They have now become an integral part of our life. We use them on a daily basis for a variety of objectives. We are so accustomed to using plastic bags that we frequently become enraged when a retailer refuses to give us one. Carrying your own backpack all the time becomes exhausting. Because of the government's prohibition on plastic bags, the store declined. Why is it that one is frequently perplexed? Our lives are made easier by plastic bags, but at what cost? They cause harm to our planet and ecology. It is past time for us to abandon our use of plastic bags.

There are several reasons to avoid using plastic bags. We must stop utilizing them in order to protect and improve our environment. To eliminate the use of plastic bags, a variety of environmentally beneficial alternatives can be employed. Firstly, plastic bags are a significant source of plastic pollution. They take years to degrade because they are non-biodegradable. They contribute to a large amount of garbage that accumulates over time. It takes thousands of years for plastic to degrade. It persists in the environment, adding to the growing problem of land contamination.

Similarly, it pollutes the water supply. People discard bags irresponsibly on the roads, in drains, and rivers, and they end up in bodies of water. Winds carry them away, and they are sometimes placed into water on purpose. This plastic bag sinks to the bottom of the ocean and harms aquatic life. Furthermore, plastic bags contaminate the soil, obstructing plant growth. After breaking down, they soak into the soil and remain there, producing soil infertility. The chemical wreaks havoc on the land and disrupts crops.

Plastic, above all, is responsible for the mortality of animals. The animals have no idea what they should consume and what they should avoid. Plastic bags get lodged in the stray animals' bodies and they eat them. In other words, their bodies suffer from major illnesses as a result of this. They have been known to choke to death after ingesting plastic bags.

Though it may be tough at first to stop using plastic bags, it is necessary for the larger benefit. Plastic is quietly but gradually consuming and harming our planet. Despite the fact that the government has banned the use of plastic bags, people continue to use them. To ensure that these rules are strictly enforced, the government must take harsh measures against those who break them. Furthermore, each of us must step forward to put this ban into practice and ensure its success. Shopkeepers must not sell us plastic bags. Instead, when the shopkeeper offers, we must decline to take our groceries in them.

In addition, we must bring our own cloth or paper shopping bags. Instead of using plastic containers, try using steel or aluminum ones. We need to encourage kids to avoid using plastic bags. If we see someone using it, we must confront them right away. Animals die after digesting plastic, therefore never toss it away on the road. We must band together to implement a plastic ban and make the world a safer and healthier place.
