Name different types of triangles. Illustrate how you can introduce each triangle to the Foundation Phase learner during the lesson presentation. Mention the resources that you will use. (
Geometry is made up of two main elements. One is debating the shape of something. The second component is thinking about space. Three straight sides unite to form a triangle. The sides can be any length, but the greatest side cannot be equal to or more than the total of the other two sides. A triangle also has three interior angles, with the sum of those three angles always being 180 degrees.
Equilateral triangle. This is a triangle with all sides having equal lengths, and all angles having equal measures of 60 degrees.
Right triangle. This is a triangle with one right angle and two acute angles, where an acute angle is an angle that measures less than 90 degrees.
Isosceles triangle This is a triangle with two sides of equal lengths.
Acute triangle, which is a triangle with three acute angles.
Obtuse triangle. This is a triangle with two acute angles and one obtuse angle, where an obtuse angle is an angle that measures greater than 90 degrees.
Scalene triangle. This is a triangle with all three sides having different lengths.
