EXTENSION OF LOCKDOWN FOR A FIRTHUR PERIOD OF TWO WEEKS
WITH EFFECT FROM JUNE, 24, 2021.
Due to significant gains in the COVID 19 situation in the country, Ministry of Health and the Government issue an order under the Disaster Management Act, today to further extend the lockdown for a further period of two weeks beyond June 24,2021 .New guidelines are also issued to regulate different activities in this period based on the profiling risk in hotspot areas.
- Under the new guidelines, a number of activities will remain prohibited throughout the country irrespective of the are affected. Activities include running of schools and colleges and other educational trainings, places of large public gatherings. However movement of persons by air is allowed for selected purposes.
- Measures for well being and safety of persons, hence individual movements shall be strictly prohibited between 7pm to 7am. Local authorities shall issue orders on curfew and ensure adherence
- State government are mandated to strictly enforce the lockdown guidelines nd they shall not dilute these guidelines and they shall not dilute these guidelines issued under the Disaster Management Act ,in any manner .
