The two most used social media platforms in South Africa in 2020 were Whatsapp, Youtube, and Facebook. The KSB mission is a religious organization. The presumption is that they not only want to reach a wide population, but that they also want to 'recruit' many more followers or church goers. Whatsapp is therefore a good platform to support this. Provided both users have a stable internet connection, they can both communicate in real time, by texting, voice or video calling each other. This can also be achieved in group sessions because of the 'add-call' function. The Whatsapp statuses are a fun, creative way for the mission to post information on events, mission statements, Bible verses or quotes.
Youtube is the other viable platform. It would be convenient for the mission to hold live prayer sessions or other activities. Once again, the stakeholders can engage, especially during live videos through the chat option in the Youtube menu.
