Learning experience could be defined as being either long-term or short term and the educator has important roles to play in both cases. In the short-term, the role of the educator is to help students gain knowledge that will only help them to pass exams and move to the next stage. In the long-term, the role of the educator is to create a conducive surrounding that will assist the student in getting good grades in future. The main difference between the long-term and short-term leadership roles is the intention of the results since for the short term, it is associated with immediate results while for the long-term leadership, it is associated with future outcomes.
