Behavioral emphasis refers to the primary focus on behaviors of individuals as the main mean of achieving certain goals in different fields. According to IUCN, environmental education is defined as a process in which concepts are explained and values discovered to develop skills and attitudes to reflect the relationship between man, culture and the physical environment. The behavioral emphasis from the definition comes in from the fact that it is solely the decision of man in terms of persona conduct which decides on how they should interact with the environment. Code of conduct is a word which describes the behaviors of people thus when used in the definition of environmental education, it provides emphasis to behavioral aspects of people.
