Pakistan emerged on the world map as an independent sovereign state in August 1947 due to the division of the British Indian Empire. Pakistan has a rich and unique culture that has preserved established traditions throughout history. Pakistan citizens adopted many cultural practices, foods, monuments, and shrines from the rule of Muslim Mughal and Afghan emperors.

Pakistani society is largely multilingual and 96% Muslim, with high respect for outdated family morals. However, urban families have grown into a nuclear family system due to the socio-economic constraints imposed by the traditional joint family system.

Firstly, many of Pakistan's music ranges from diverse provincial folk music, which is traditional and generally rural music initially passed down through families and other small social groups. It is more of hearing than reading.

Secondly, many festivals are celebrated annually in Pakistan - which may or may not is observed as national public holidays. Examples of such festivals are; Pakistan Day (23 March), Independence Day (14 August), Defence of Pakistan Day (6 September), Pakistan Air Force Day (7 September), the anniversaries of the birth (25 December, a national holiday) and death (11 September) of Quaide-Azam, birth of Allama Iqbal (9 November).

There are also religious festivals that Pakistan Muslims celebrate, and the celebration days depend on the Islamic calendar. Ramadan is featured by daytime fasting for 29 or 30 and is followed by the festival of Eid ul-Fit.  Muslims celebrated Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the prophet MOHAMMAD's birthday, and celebrated in the third month of the calendar (Rabi'' al-Awwal).

Thirdly, the literature of Pakistan covers the works of literature of languages spread throughout the country: Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi, Pushto, Baluchi, and English in recent times and the past often Persian well. Before the 19th century, literature mainly consisted of lyric poetry and religious, popular mystical materials.

In conclusion, Pakistan society majorly comprises Muslims, and they have cultures like the literature they use, the music played and listened to, festivals they celebrate, and their architecture.
