Ways in which children can be prevented from accessing inappropriate online materials include;

1. Installation of mature content filtering software- The software automatically deletes child inappropriate content.
2. The parents, teachers and guardians should check the wee explorer at all times-This is so as to ensure that the learners do not visit inappropriate sites.
3. Parents ,teachers and guardians should teach and explain to learners the importance of keeping private matters private.-Always teach your your children not to reveal personal information to strangers like their names, the schools they attend or even where they reside.
4. The Guardians, parents and teachers should make use of browsers-They include; Google chrome and Firefox Mozilla and other browsers. They have options were you can set up and safeguard content filters for material unsafe for learners.
5. Know the online game ratings- Allow the learners to play games that are only appropriate to their age.
