Monica is bold because she ,like Lakshmi, she has a goal that she wont just give up she wants to return back to her village where she has a daughter.

Monica is brave, sharp and intelligent girl she has learned tricks to use to catch attention of the customers hence earning more money quickly.

Monica is high tempered but she is kind she saved Lakshmi from being molested by the doctor who attends them in the house and she gives her possession when she leaves brothel to go back home.
