Queen of the south is a thriller movie with Teresa deemed to have crossed the Rubicon. Teresa meets Guero, her boyfriend who introduces her to the cartel business of dealing in drugs. When Guero goes missing, Teresa realizes how much deep she has gotten into the business and has no time to back out. She has to live her life in the business and later develops into one of the largest suppliers of drugs.
