One of the many claims against online teaching and learning is that it “throttles practice”.
In an argumentative paragraph of no more than 150 words, discuss to what extent you
agree or disagree with this claim. Use at least two of your experiences as a student
during the national lockdown to support your argument.
Education sector was affected mostly by the lockdown which was imposed to curb the pandemic which struck the world. Following this online learning was found to be the only solution for studies to take place in that in-person learning had been suspended. For one to learn online he/she was supposed to own a gadget which could access internet, have a proper network, a good supply of power among other necessities. A proper example is a student living in a marginalized area and has got no access to network, no power in the area plus the fact that he/she might be from a humble background hence lacking the access to a gadget which can access the access online classes. This therefore becomes tiresome to such students since they will feel like they have been neglected or rather being not considered by the school on their studies and this becomes throttling to the students.
