The traditional Muslim family is an extended family. Marriage in Islām is a divine bond between husband and wife to enjoy social and intimate relationship with each other and to have children. It is one of the most sacred divine contracts between them. Family is the nucleus of Islāmic society and marriage is the only way to bring families into existence, Islām encourages marriage when someone reaches the age of puberty.
